Story & Final Verdict:
The Much anticipated movie of the Indian Cinema Prabhas starrer Saaho release this friday with huge expectations all over india, after the mammooth success of the Baahubali series prabhas now come up again with big budget film under the direction of Sujeeth who earlier directed run raja run, let us look into the review of saaho whether the Saaho meet the audience expectations are not.
The film Saaho is about Roy (Jackie Shroff) is an underworld don killed by his rival group of Devraj (Chunkey Pande) with an intention to acquire Roy kingdom. Couple of days later, a high profile robbery worth Rs.2 Thousand Crores takes place in Mumbai which results in undercover cop Ashok (Prabhas) assigned the task assisted by crime branch inspector Amritha (Shraddha) to crack the case. Ashok however falls for Amritha. How the movie connect this robbery with the gang of mafia leaders in Waaji city. Devraj and Iqbal (Arun Vijay). Who is the actual thief in Mumbai robbery? Will Devraj takes Roy's kingdom? If not, who the Saaho is and how he became Devraj’s threat? All these you must watch in theaters.
Coming to Artists Performance and Technical aspects, Prabhas single handedly lifted the movie with his screen presence and fantastic action scenes, Sharadda kapoor is good and played a good role and Prabhas and Shraddha pair is good to an extent, the other lead roles are okeyish with their roles. The main culprit of the movie is screenplay which is tough to follow by a normal audience and Songs by several music directors are just ok to watch on big screen and cinematography and production values and action choreography is decent. Coming to the director Sujeeth his vision is not so clear in taking the output and the screenplay is literally confusing and made the scenes flat.
Coming to Conclusion Saaho is below average fare With just good action scenes and weak screenplay and confusing drama which lacks emotions and good music. If you are a Prabhas fan and action movie lover you can watch on big screen for their rich production values.
